The McClure Lineage

There is still a lot of uncertainty and mystery about the parentage and most siblings of Pleasant McClure, our McClure family patriarch. We are now fairly certain that Manley McClure is his brother, and I'm including the information in a separate document to show how we've reached those conclusions at Pleasant McClure Research Clues. We owe a debt of gratitude to Donna Tattershall, a cousin, who has made several trips to Kentucky to dig deep in an effort to solve this mystery. There is also several other possibilities about the parentage of Pleasant. For this link see Pleasant McClure Notes. We are reasonably certain, from the data found that Moses McClure is his father, but not sure enough to include it here. For now we will begin our lineage with Pleasant and his brother Manley. Sam and Lola had four children, two of them still living, all of their grandchildren are still living, and all of their great-grandchildren [except for one] are still living.
Sam and Lola McClure had four children:
